Holistic Massage - Holistic massage benefits the mind, body and spirit. Combining the modalities appropriate for you, our licensed massage therapists treat your body as a "whole" to relive internal and external discomfort in a supportive, relaxing environment.

Body Work- Our body work is a combination of several modalities chosen by your therapist to address the needs of your body's stress pattern during the time that you are with us.

Deep Tissue Massage - Deep Tissue Massage is a massage technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. The goal is to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep localized pressure on the constricted areas which helps to eliminate scar tissue. Deep tissue massage usually focuses on more specific areas and may cause some soreness during or right after the massage. However, if the massage is done correctly you should feel better than ever within a day or two. Please come well hydrated for maximum results.

Therapeutic Massage - This style of massage focuses on improving flexibility, range of motion in a particular muscle group, releasing stress and improving general well-being. Please come well hydrated for maximum results.

Manual lymphatic drainage is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues to be processed by internal organs and eliminated. This treatment is helpful for reducing swelling, contouring the body, and reducing signs of aging.

Facial release is a soft tissue therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain. This alternative medicine therapy aims to relax contracted muscles, improve blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulate the stretch reflex in muscles. Fascia is a thin, tough, elastic type of connective tissue that wraps most structures within the human body, including muscle. Fascia supports and protects these structures. This soft tissue can become restricted often resulting in pain, muscle tension, and corresponding diminished blood flow.

CranioSacral Therapy, or CST, is a light-touch approach that can create dramatic improvements in your life. It releases tensions deep in the body to relive pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.

Using a gentle touch our CST practitioner evaluates your internal environment and uses a distinctive light-touch technique to release any restrictions she finds. By freeing the central nervous system to perform at its best, CST naturally eliminates pain and stress, strengthens your resistance to disease and enhances your health and well being. And because it's so gentle, CranioSacral Therapy can be effective for all ages, from newborns to elders.

Additionally, our practitioner is experienced in CranioSacral Therapy for conception, pregnancy and birthing. The healing power of gentle touch can alleviate many conditions related to pregnancy and other effects on mother and child as the pregnancy develops.

Reflexology - A natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears and their referral areas within zone related areas, which correspond to every part, gland and organ of the body. The feet being the primary area of application, pressure received in the feet may send signals that 'balance' the nervous system or release chemicals such as endorphins that reduce stress and pain, improve circulation, and help promote the natural function of the related areas in the body. Similar practices have been documented in the early histories of China and Egypt. Reflexology was modified in the 1930s and 1940s by Eunice D. Ingham (1889–1974), a nurse and physiotherapist to fit into the modern medical understanding of the human body.

Aroma Therapy - Aromatherapy is a form of alternative medicine that uses essential oils, for the purpose of altering one's mood, cognitive, psychological or physical well being. Aromatherapy uses blends of therapeutic essential oils that can be issued through topical application, massage, inhalation or water immersion to stimulate a desired response on the brain, especially the limbic system through the olfactory system. Desired responses can include relaxation, over all feelings of happiness, and connectedness.

The direct pharmacological effects of essential oils are demonstrated by the anti-microbial effects associated with direct topical application of oils including, but not limited to lavender, clove, frankincense, and tea tree oil.
